The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

Wow. It's been a long while since I've written a journal entry. It's also been a long while since I've been on here as well. I find more often than not that I keep forgetting to get on here too. Oh memory issues, I loathe thee. Migraines too on the health note. I loathe them too. *shakes head*



But on a positive note, I've gotten more of who and what I am and am glad to be on the pathway that Nyx has led me on. Each day I am gladly walking the path she has led me on. I am ever grateful for her watching over my life mates and I every day.

On other notes, I've learned to read Greek. I can read the letters pretty much with a little challenges here and there with a couple of the letters that can be a few letters (the U shaped letter being a y, v, or u at times depending on the other letters it's by). And I'm working on learning the translations for words. I do know quite a few words and phrases here and there. I can speak a few sentences but I know I have a long ways to go before I get more fluent in it. Whether I'll ever become fully fluent or not, at least I know some Greek and I'm happy.

I also am learning American Sign Language (ASL) with help from a friend as well (she's not deaf but she's taken classes on it a little). It's great being able to communicate a little with the need to talk all the time. And most people aren't aware of how to speak Sign so most wouldn't know what my friend and I are talking about. But I do wish they would make it mandatory here in the US to learn Sign during grade school so that way more would be able to communicate, especially for those that are deaf and hard of hearing. Having a disability/limitation of any kind can be hard and when one doesn't understand or can't communicate, it can be very stressful. Which is why I wish it would be mandatory to learn basic questions, phrases, and answers and such. But that's just my opinion I suppose.



Anyways, I better go get sleep. Sleep is good.
